Church we had to participate in pre-marriage
counseling which consisted of meeting with a
sponsor couple and attending a weekend
retreat, Tobit Weekend.

us. On Sunday, we were to gather as a
group to share the "thing" that we came
up with but Scott wouldn't take any time
to try to discuss it. I was getting pretty
anxious about the whole thing so Scott
said I needed to leave it up to him.
On Sunday, Scott came through with a
beautiful symbol. Scott said that We
(Each Other) were our symbol.
Everyday when people see us together
we will exemplify what God wants us to
be. And when they see us they see our
love and God's love.

developed the utmost respect for The Berty's. The Berty's
are a very special couple and a beautiful example of how
a blended family should exist! and continue to stay close
